Fishing Package

Discover the wonders of the sea surrounding Puerto Vallarta with fishing packages from Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Spa. Depart for the Bay of Banderas as the sun rises and enjoy a full day trip with lunch—don’t forget that the hotel’s chef can cook your catch upon your return! Or take an overnight trip complete with all meals, including fresh-made ceviche.  Your catch of up to a 400 lb. fish might include: huge yellow-fin tuna, bonita, mahi-mahi, Jack Crevalle, sierra mackerel, roster fish, red snapper, black and blue marlin, sailfish, wahoo, or rainbow runner.

Package includes:

• Deluxe room with Jacuzzi (subject to availability).
• Two fishing trips in the bay.
• Bait, tackle, fishing license, cooler, ice.
• Recommended departure time: 7:00 a.m.
• Our chef will cook your fish.
• Box lunch, beer and soft drinks during fishing trips.

Trip in the bay (up to 20 miles out)
Available fish (up to 50 pounds): yellow fin tuna, bonita, mahi-mahi, Jack Crevalle, sierra mackerel, roster fish, red snapper, etc.

Option 2

Day 1, 36 miles out
Available fish (up to 250 pounds): huge yellow fin tuna, bonita, mahi-mahi, Jack Crevalle, Sierra mackerel, roster fish, red snapper, black and blue marlin, sailfish, wahoo, rainbow runner, etc.

Day 2, 50 miles out
Same fish as above (400 pounds average): huge yellow fin tuna, bonita, mahi-mahi, Jack Crevalle.

Option 3

Overnight, 50 miles out

Available fish (up to 250 pounds): huge yellow fin tuna, bonita, mahi-mahi, Jack Crevalle, sierra mackerel, roster fish, red snapper, black and blue marlin, sailfish, wahoo, rainbow runner, etc.
