Camerata de Puerto Vallarta: A New Musical Chapter by the Bay

Puerto Vallarta is world-renowned for its golden sunsets, warm hospitality, and stunning beaches. Today, the city has one more reason to shine: the birth of the Camerata de Puerto Vallarta by OEPV, an ensemble that promises to become a cultural landmark in our destination. 

After nearly 15 years of training young talent through the Puerto Vallarta School Orchestra, this project emerges as the natural next step: a space where outstanding students, alumni, and mentors can continue their musical journey and share it with the community. 

“Estampas de México”: The Camerata’s First Concert 

The Camerata will debut with the concert “Estampas de México”, a program dedicated to great Mexican composers, taking place on Thursday, September 18 at 8:30 pm at the Auditorio del Colegio Niños Héroes. It will be a night where tradition, talent, and the love for Mexican music come together. 

What makes this initiative even more exciting is that it’s not a one-time event: every third Thursday of the month, the Camerata will perform in Puerto Vallarta, becoming a permanent meeting point for music lovers and cultural explorers.
