1. Introduction and Acceptance 

Access and use of our website www.hotelbuenaventura.com.mx/en, as well as lodging in our facilities, implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must refrain from using this site or contracting our services. 

2. Rates 

  • All published rates are per person per night and include applicable taxes. 
  • Promotions and discounts apply only to reservations made through our official website. 
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice. 
  • All rates are shown in U.S. dollars (USD). On our website, you may view an estimated conversion to your local currency for informational purposes only. The final charge will be processed in USD, and the amount in your local currency may vary depending on the exchange rate and the policies applied by your bank or financial institution at the time of the transaction. 

3. Guest Registration 

  • Every person staying at this establishment is required to register on the guest registration card, which will be managed by the hotel staff. 
  • By registering, the guest accepts the conditions of stay and agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions. 

4. Check-in and Check-out 

  • Check-in time: 3:00 p.m. 
  • Check-out time: 12:00 p.m. 
  • A tolerance of 60 minutes will be granted. After this period, an additional night’s rate will be charged. 
  • Guests checking in between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. will be charged the rate corresponding to the previous night. 
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges (please consult the Front Desk). 

5. Reservations 

  • Reservations may be made online, via call center, or directly at the hotel. 
  • A deposit guarantee is required according to the policy in effect for the season. 
  • At check-in, a valid official ID must be presented. For minors, an identity document confirming family relationship will be requested. 
  • Minors cannot check in without being accompanied by an adult accredited as their family member. 
  • Reservations cannot be made under the name of a minor as the holder. 
  • Fraudulent reservations or those made with false information will not be accepted. 

6. Cancellation and No-Show Policies 

  • Cancellations made within the advance period indicated in your reservation policy will not incur charges. 
  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge according to the policy of the purchased promotion, which will be informed at the time of booking. 
  • During high season and special dates (Christmas, New Year’s, Easter), stricter policies will apply and will be communicated at the time of booking. 

7. Minimum Stay Requirements 

Depending on the season, the hotel may require a minimum number of nights per stay. 

8. Occupancy and Child Policies 

  • Children 0 to 12 years old: considered minors and will be charged according to the rate established for the season. 
  • Teenagers 13 to 17 years old: pay the adult rate but are not allowed access to alcoholic beverages or activities restricted to legal adults. 
  • Extra adult: an additional charge will apply depending on occupancy and season, provided the room capacity allows it. 

9. Payment Methods 

  • Credit and debit cards Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. 
  • Cash payments in Mexican pesos (MXN) are also accepted at the Front Desk. 

10. Hotel Liability 

  • The hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of belongings not deposited in the in-room safe. 
  • Safes are provided in guest rooms for the safekeeping of valuables. 
  • Pets are not allowed. 

11. Guest Behavior 

  • We expect respectful behavior toward other guests and hotel staff. 
  • The following is strictly prohibited: 
    • Disturbing order or causing inconvenience to other guests. 
    • Creating disturbances, provoking fights, or bringing in musicians. 
    • Playing loud music in public areas, the pool, beach, hallways, or rooms. 
    • Gambling or engaging in any illegal activity. 
  • The hotel reserves the right to cancel a stay without refund in cases of: 
    • Excessive noise or disturbances. 
    • Offensive, violent, or inappropriate behavior. 
    • Consumption of illegal substances. 
    • Damage to facilities or furniture. 
  • In case of loss of a bracelet, room key, towel card, minibar key, and/or safe key, the corresponding charge established by the Front Desk will apply. 
  • No guest may lodge another person without prior consent from Hotel Management. Any additional guests or personal staff must be registered and pay the corresponding rate. The room holder will be responsible for their conduct. 

12. Payment Default 

In the event of non-payment by the guest, the hotel will proceed in accordance with Article 2331 of the Civil Code of the State of Jalisco. 

13. Anti-Smoking Law 

In accordance with the General Law for Tobacco Control, smoking is prohibited in guest rooms and enclosed areas of the hotel, ensuring 100% smoke-free spaces. 

  • The minimum sanction under this law is 1,000 times the daily general minimum wage and up to 10,000 times the same. In case of recurrence, the fine may be doubled, with notification to the competent authorities. 
  • The hotel reserves the right to apply a charge of US $100 (one hundred U.S. dollars) for cleaning in rooms where smoking has occurred. 

14. National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents 

This establishment is committed to the National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Travel and Tourism Sector.[

Any activity that may constitute a presumable case of sexual or labor exploitation of minors will be immediately reported to the competent authorities. 

15. Website Use 

  • The site may only be used to make legitimate reservations. 
  • Use for illegal activities, unauthorized commercial purposes, or fraudulent bookings is strictly prohibited. 

16. Intellectual Property 

The design, content, photographs, and materials on this website are the property of Hotel Marena S.A. de C.V. (Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments) and are protected under current intellectual property law.
